You have 3 to 5 years of recruiting, sourcing, and resume screening experience (preferably in a staffing agency environment), and would like to make the move to corporate recruiting and HR. You are resourceful and tackle problems or tasks head-on. You are open to constructive feedback and crave an environment that encourages continuous learning and development. You work best when not being micromanaged, but you know how to ask for help when you need further direction. You are passionate about what you do and want to be a part of the community LeagueApps is building in youth sports. Most importantly, you have a good sense of humor and a thick skin. You are a people person!!!
About the position:
This is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to up their recruiting game. Reporting to the Head of People and Culture (that’s me), you will get the opportunity to work on both recruiting and culture initiatives. I will teach you how to take your recruiting skills from art to a data-driven science. You will get to delve into the People Ops side (On-boarding, Culture, Performance Reviews, Events, Process, and Policy), and have a hand in creating a challenging and rewarding environment for the talented individuals you are recruiting. Recruiters are brand ambassadors, talent scouts, professional stalkers (in a non-creepy way), investigators, negotiators, and most often, magicians. Truly amazing recruiters can pull top candidates out of thin air. We know within minutes of speaking with someone if they are a fit for the culture. We do both traditional and non-traditional sourcing. We understand the career path of all the roles within our company and can negotiate every detail of hiring a future team member down to the minutest details while keeping the process exciting and the candidate highly engaged.
