Manager of Talent Acquisition

About You:

You have 3 to 5 years of recruiting, sourcing, and resume screening experience, and would like to make the move to corporate recruiting and HR. You are resourceful and tackle problems or tasks head-on. You are open to constructive feedback and crave an environment that encourages continuous learning and development. You work best when not being micromanaged, but you know how to ask for help when you need further direction. You are passionate about what you do and want to be a part of the community LeagueApps is building in youth sports. Most importantly, you have a good sense of humor and a thick skin. You are a people person!!!  

About the position:

This is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to up their recruiting game.  You will get the opportunity to work on both recruiting and culture initiatives. I will teach you how to take your recruiting skills from art to a data-driven science. You will get to delve into the People Ops side (On-boarding, Culture, Performance Reviews, Events, Process, and Policy), and have a hand in creating a challenging and rewarding environment for the talented individuals you are recruiting. Recruiters are brand ambassadors, talent scouts, professional stalkers (in a non-creepy way), investigators, negotiators, and most often, magicians. We do both traditional and non-traditional sourcing. We understand the career path of all the roles within our company and can negotiate every detail of hiring a future team member down to the minutest details while keeping the process exciting and the candidate highly engaged. Responsibilities:

  • Lead all aspects of the full-lifecycle recruiting process
  • Be a partner to our department leaders to help define our talent needs and recruiting strategies needed to fill roles
  • Use LinkedIn and other tools to source top candidates that meet our hiring needs and create a robust talent pipeline.
  • Design and implement external candidate marketing and proactive recruiting programs and processes that attract, select and retain a qualified, diverse workforce
  • Utilize our ATS and other systems to optimize the delivery, quality, diversity, and compliance of all recruiting activities
  • Ensure the best candidate experience from application thru on-boarding
  • Define, track and analyze talent acquisition metrics and develop practical tracking and reporting methods to monitor and improve performance, including cost per hire, hiring cycle time, quality of hire, turnover, competitive hiring measures, and new hire engagement measures.
  • Select and oversee tools, vendors, technology, and assets used to support highly effective talent acquisition.
  • Be passionate about Talent Acquisition, be an internal and external ambassador for the organization
  • Regularly update leadership on current and future state of talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Develop, gain approval for and manage the Talent Acquisition budget

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of direct talent acquisition experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment
  • Background in tech and sales recruiting a plan
  • Proven ability to manage and execute all phases of the Recruitment cycle
  • Personality to be a magnet for talent
  • Data Driven.  You embrace using data and metrics to drive a people operations strategy
  • A collaborative and cooperative work style; outstanding interpersonal and communication capabilities
  • Passion for our mission.  You relate to our mission to ensure that the future of youth and local sports is even better than its past.
