About the Position:

LeagueApps Biz Ops (Analytics) & Strategy drives strategic decisions and operational improvements that impact business and financial results. The Biz Ops team operates as an internal consulting group; as an Analyst on our team you will immerse yourself in data analysis and problem solving to develop insights and inform recommendations to executive leadership. You will work with a small team and project-manage several priorities.  You will build relationships with leaders across the company in Finance, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner across LeagueApps’ business units to deliver strong financial results via analytically driven insights.

  • Provide analytic support via hands-on Excel work while leveraging other tools as necessary (SQL, Python, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Tableau).

  • Identify actionable insights, exercise sound business judgment, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the LeagueApps’ business by effectively working with and communicating results cross-departmentally

  • Create dashboards that provide visibility into KPIs, sales & marketing effectiveness and business trends/drivers

  • Build a high working competency of company operational value chain context in order to influence department leaders to accomplish their objectives

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in investment banking, consulting, or data analysis at a high growth startup technology company

  • Superior hands-on analytic skills including very strong financial modeling skills and an interest in learning SQL

  • Prior experience with SQL a plus

  • Prior experience working with data visualisation software (e.g. Tableau, Looker) a plus

  • Prior experience working with Salesforce and Google Analytics a plus

  • Communicates effectively across departments and levels
