About You:

You have 5+ of relevant professional experience in building relationships and networks, with an eye towards revenue.  You may have worked in business development, in non-profit fundraising, or in political organizing, but underlying your professional success is an authentic curiosity about people and a desire to connect people.  You are relationship-oriented, but you are also process-oriented, enabling you to bring structure and organization to the role. You have led or managed committees or groups in the past, and understand how to lead projects to fruition.  You may have had experience supporting senior leadership, well-served by an attention to detail, and an ability to anticipate the needs of others. You collaborate at all levels of an organization. You are resourceful, capable of working independently and identifying solutions to obstacles as they surface. You’re passionate about what you do and relate to our mission and values.   

About the Position:

We’re more than just a technology company - we’re a community of leading youth sports entrepreneurs and other stakeholders shaping the future of an emerging industry.  You’ll be at the heart of the community, helping to build it, understand it and then help us leverage it to the benefit of its members, our company and society at large.  Your success will help us accelerate sales cycles and revenue opportunities through the pull of our network and facilitate our positive impact on the youth sports industry. You’ll also be giving leverage to our President, enabling his ability to build and manage new strategic relationships.          

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage an industry leaders program across all sports that includes program design, recruitment, program execution and active management to drive revenue

  • Lead branded content initiatives that leverage the voices and perspective of the LeagueApps community 

  • Utilize our network to drive key revenue initiatives including our NextUp conference, local events, content marketing and referrals      

  • Work closely with the President to support broad-based relationship-building across sectors that contribute to immediate and long-term value creation, including research, relationship management, relationship nurturing and proactive identification of opportunities to leverage relationships  

  • Lead customer scoring initiative to identify customers for inclusion in brand programs and thought leadership initiatives

  • Serve as conduit throughout the organization to leverage relationships to help departments drive their business outcomes

  • Design and implement systems to track network relationships and the value-driven by those relationships

  • Develop content and other programs for ongoing engagement of our network including social media, email and events

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relationship management experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment

  • Excellent project management and organization skills in order to work and lead several initiatives simultaneously, effectively and efficiently

  • Personality that attracts and creates trust among people

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

  • A collaborative and cooperative work style; outstanding interpersonal and communication capabilities

  • Ability to lead and manage committees

  • Ability to connect the dots and creatively surface opportunities
